June Gamble

Born and bred in Plymouth, June trained as a dancer before becoming a Dance Manager working with a range of professional Dance companies that toured nationally and internationally Yael Flexer, City Ballet of London and Hofesh Shechter.

As well as being the Coordinating Producer for Plymouth Dance, she is a Life and Business Coach, Trainer, Facilitator, Dance Management Consultant and a Partner of Grand Visionary Solutions.

Laura Henry- Corporate Development Coordinator

Laura graduated from Plymouth University in 2013 in Dance Theatre, she has deeply embedded herself into the dance community within the South West of England, specialising in working within intergenerational community settings, delivering dance to disadvantaged young people and people with disabilities.

Her passion is breaking the social-political barriers that surround dance. One of Laura’s main focuses is to help improve the health and well-being of all the participants she works with and to make dance accessible for all. In 2016 she was appointed as Artistic Director for Plymouth based Exim Dance Company. For the last 4 years she’s toured nationally as a performer with Exim Dance Company, produced UK Arts Council funded tours, delivered careers talks to universities and colleges across the South West.

She has successfully set up many youth educational programmes and youth companies in Plymouth, Devon. In 2017 she was invited to have extensive business development training with Real Ideas Organisation for the growth of her social enterprise company. Laura has worked internationally as an inclusive practitioner and performer. 2018 will see her lead workshops and perform in Moscow, Spain and South Korea at international inclusive dance festivals with Exim Dance Company.

Kaitlyn Howlett

Kaitlyn is originally from Weston – Super – Mare, North Somerset and is now a Dance and Taiko Artist based in Plymouth, Devon. After Completing a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing arts from Weston College.

Kaitlyn progressed to The University of Plymouth graduating with a First Class BA Honors Degree in Dance Theatre 2017. After Volunteering for Plymouth Dance and Exim Dance Company during her degree course Kaitlyn after worked as an intern for both organisations over a 6 month period (2017-2018).

Kaitlyn has continued to work for both orgainisations and is now a producer for Plymouth Dance, predominantly working on our Tea Dance with a Twist! project, the International Inclusive Dance Summer Intensive with Adam Benjamin and coordinating other events in and around the city such as RESPECT Festival and local workshops.

Kaitlyn is excited for her upcoming roles within the company where she will be a producer for The Imagination Museum: Mayflower 400 project with Katie Green (2018 -2020) and a temporary role as the Volunteer Coordinator (2018-2019).

Chloe Brown

Chloe originally from Yeovil, Somerset studied dance at a young age progressing to both BTEC Dance and A-level Dance. Since then, she has moved to Plymouth and graduated from Plymouth University with a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Dance Theatre in 2017.

During her studies she embarked on training and intensives in various styles including Improvisation, Contemporary and Street Dance with renowned dance artists including Adam Benjamin, Heather Walrond and Avant Garde Dance.

She has since achieved training with Plymouth Dance in Dementia Awareness, Dance and Parkinson’s. These enabled her to become a Tea Dance with a Twist! Practitioner in 2016.
